Dr. Nabanita Javed is a Kolkata-based self-taught artist and practicing gynecologist whose vibrant, expressive works explore emotion, memory, and the feminine spirit. Painting since the late 1990s, she blends imagination with lived experience, using bold colors and shifting styles to reflect her inner world.
Her debut solo show Colours of India was held in Massachusetts, and she has since exhibited widely in India. Deeply intuitive and constantly evolving, Javed paints for joy and self-expression, balancing her artistic practice with a demanding medical career.
