Shilajit Ghosh (b. 1959, Kolkata) is a self-taught Indian abstract expressionist known for his vibrant, emotionally resonant compositions. Influenced by Matisse, Kandinsky, and Klee, his work blends bold colors and dynamic forms to explore memory, transformation, and the subconscious. After a long hiatus, Ghosh returned to the art scene with his solo exhibition The Quest Within, reaffirming his place in contemporary Indian art.
