Ananda Das, born in 1974 in Kolkata, is a self-taught Indian artist known for his realistic and figurative paintings that evoke a sense of spirituality and romance. Son of the eminent artist Lakshmi Narayan Das, Ananda began his training at the Bengal School of Arts at the young age of fourteen.
