Universal brotherhood

Universal brotherhood

by Aditya Vikram Singh

Universal Brotherhood is vibrant artwork beautifully captures the spirit of universal brotherhood through a harmonious blend of human, animal, and natural elements. At the center, a multicolored bull carries a patchwork house on its back, symbolizing the shared burden and strength of community. Two figures shake hands, representing peace, unity, and mutual respect across generations. Surrounding them are animals like a dog, birds, and fishes—each echoing values of loyalty, freedom, and coexistence. The blooming flowers, swirling sun, and celestial bodies remind us of our deep connection with nature and the universe. Despite the dark clouds, the overall tone radiates hope and togetherness, celebrating diversity and the peaceful integration of all living beings.

Aditya Vikram Singh

I am a self-taught artist whose creative journey began with drawing cartoons during my school and university years. What started as a simple hobby gradually became a quiet passion, something I would turn to after work hours for joy and solace. Over time, this love for art deepened and expanded, from playful sketches to delicate watercolours and expressive pen work. Today, art is no longer just a part of my life€”it is all I do. I now paint across various mediums, including oil, watercolour, and ink, each offering its own voice to my imagination. Originally from the small town of Sagar in Madhya Pradesh, I now live in Delhi, where I continue to explore the beauty of everyday moments through my brush. At 60, I feel more connected to my art than ever, drawing from a lifetime of memories, simplicity, and heartfelt reflection.
