Kamal Mitra is a Kolkata-based contemporary artist known for his expressive work in painting and printmaking. A graduate of the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, and Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan, his art blends figurative and abstract elements to explore themes of introspection and human experience. Working primarily with etching and lithography, Mitra has exhibited widely and received several honors, including a Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, India.
