Mitali Dey

Mitali Dey is known for her vibrant, multi-layered collage works that explore themes around women, mythology, love, and contemporary realities. Through a skillful blend of torn colored paper, brush strokes, and sketch-like lines, her compositions weave radiant color fields with textual intricacy, creating poetic visual narratives. Her exhibition “Assembled Art” showcased seven recent works centered on various expressions of womanhood, described as a “riot of vibrant colours” and “illustrated verse” marked by technical finesse and evocative storytelling
Her art resonates with refined romanticism, balancing imaginative aesthetics with thoughtful commentary on personal and societal dimensions—each piece reflecting both emotional depth and visual allure.
